Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2015

Anthony Vaccarello, Belgian Desinger showed his very own spring/summer collection at Paris Fashion Week. Nautical, sexy, short asymmetric skirts, flashy. Stripes, outerwear in tomboy style and graphic lettering – a mind-blowing first collection and we are looking forward to the next season.

Valentino Spring 2015

The Spring 2015 Collection of Valentino is inspired by the Grand Tour – a bygone passage for young men to travel and experience culture in France and Italy. Pop art influence meets last season transformation and shows dresses with prints and pastel colors, layers, shapes, details. Bohemian vibes and sheers fabrics add delicateness to this collection as well as gladiator sandals.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I get mine from the beautiful nature and moments in life

and you?

Table Mountain

Oh well, I am afraid of height- but Table Mountain, I had to do it. So here we go, cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain and the view was amazing. I am still not a fan of heights and I cannot believe how many crazy people like crawling around the edge there, just for a great picture, but hey as long as they have fun. I took some pictures from a safe distance, but you can still see how high we were and the amazing view all over Cape Town and I also met a friendly dessie on top (so cute). I was able to see the coast, Robben Island, 12 Apostels, Lions Head, Cape Town Stadium, just everything. It was worth the right and if you are not afraid of heights, maybe you even want to hike to the top or do some abseiling action.

Goeie dag!

Today we arrived in sunny and beautiful Cape Town.

I am a bit tired from the long flight and the trip, but I wanted to show you some pictures from our view and the beach where we are staying.

Doesn’t this look like paradise here?

Tomorrow we will start exploring the city and check out the surf spots here.

Let’s see where this goes…

Off to Cape Town

Got all my bags packed and I already left for ┬ásunny Cape Town – exciting!!!

I will be there for three weeks, for work and holiday and keep you posted and write some on my blog about the impressions there.

It is the first time in Cape Town for me so I am really curious what to expect and happy to meet some familiar faces over there.

I am also really looking forward to shoot this amazing gowns of Fatima Halwani there (we will have some more great collaborations coming up this summer, she is definitely a designer to watch!).

Keep an eye open for news.

Please also show Fatima some love:
